We might be stating the obvious and confirming the worst fears of some when we say this, but the word in the WWE is that Roman Reigns will keep telling everyone that he’s not a good guy, he’s not a bad guy, he’s just ‘The Guy’, following Payback.
AJ Styles will not step out of the gray latitudes and form a heel stable with Gallows and Anderson, donning the heel mantle. Creative have mercifully given this angle a miss because it would probably bring about the worst turn the storyline could take.
Styles is one of the biggest faces in the WWE at present and the scarcity of quality heels shouldn’t force a hasty move that they will regret. It could also skew the potential of a possible heel run for Reigns that would erupt in a spectacular face turn.
Moreover,Styles should stay face because of his huge merchandise turnover and how over he is with fans. The Phenomenal One, to everyone’s gaping delight, became the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship on the RAW after WrestleMania 32.
Gallows and Anderson’s recent raids on the Roman Empire have given the fans the desired impression that Styles is ordering the hits, even though the former Bullet Club leader is pleading otherwise.
