Survivor Series is just around the corner and fans are excited to see what the outcome of the first-ever 3-way brand war will be. While Survivor Series has become all about RAW vs SmackDown for the past few years, NXT will be thrown into the mix this time around.
Even though most of the card consists of 3-way battles between representatives of RAW, SmackDown and NXT, there are 2 matches on the card which will remain brand specific. These two matches are Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship and Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship.
It has been reported that even though WWE had planned Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt vs Adam Cole initially, they changed the plans later on and decided to have the Championships defended at the show instead.
Here is what Cagesideseats has reported regarding the possible finish of the two Championship matches:

"There aren’t expected to be any title changes at Survivor Series, and both title programs will likely go all the way up to, and possibly through, Royal Rumble."
Why Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan?
While the rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Rey Mysterio has all the makings of a remarkable personal feud, it is interesting to note that WWE is planning to keep The Fiend occupied with Daniel Bryan till Royal Rumble.
There have been rumours circulating that WWE wants to protect The Fiend as of now for a major match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36. In which case it would make sense to have him feud with the former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, as victories over Bryan would help build The Fiend as a heel even more.
