The last edition of Smackdown Live saw Dolph Ziggler announce that at Survivor Series, he would defend his Intercontinental Championship in an open challenge against any member of the Raw roster. According to All Wrestling News, rumour has it, that Sami Zayn will answer Ziggler’s challenge.
Naturally, it won’t be confirmed until Survivor Series itself. The argument against this rumour could be that Sami Zayn was accidentally put as the fifth member of team Raw on WWE.com. However, it was pulled down shortly thereafter.
According to F4W Online, Seth Rollins is the most likely candidate to be the fifth member of team Raw. This would leave Sami Zayn without a match since his rival Braun Strowman, is in the Raw Survivor Series team as well.

Sami Zayn vs. Dolph Ziggler would be a match that would absolutely tear the house down.
It is Sami’s home country, so the crowd is most likely going to be fully cheering for him. Ziggler has the responsibility of ensuring the Intercontinental Championship stays on Smackdown Live. The good thing about the matchup is that Sami Zayn is a character, who does not need to be protected, and can still look great even in defeat.
One thing is for sure, and that is that the two would tear the house down if they faced each other.
Ziggler’s last title defence and announcement came just this past week:
