In the midst of the Great Purge of 2016, one name that got caught in the crossfire was that of longtime WWE employee Lillian Garcia. The 49-year-old was off TV for a while and needless to say, the rumor mill started revving.
It is believed that Garcia stayed off TV to attend to a pressing family matter, according to cagesideseats.com. She later tweeted that she will be back for next week’s RAW. A part of the WWE since 1999, Garcia reportedly earned the ire of officials when she announced Big Cass as ‘Colin Cassady’, his wrestling name.
Amongst the nine Superstars released last week, a couple were kept in the dark until the last moment. Lillian was rumoured to be one of them, but this, as we found out, was completely baseless.
Cameron was apparently one of those on the “internal list” and following everything that has happened in the past few days, Ryback and Adam Rose could be as well. Ryback’s merchandise was put on sale and the WWE isn’t planning to bring him back to programming till his contract ends. Adam Rose has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested for domestic violence.
