What's the story?
On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, details pertaining to a new feud for reigning WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe were discussed.
Apparently, Joe is likely to face none other than "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman, with the former's WWE US Title on the line, on the RAW brand.

However, the WWE recently had Joe engage in a brawl with Braun Strowman on last week's episode of SmackDown Live, with Strowman seemingly getting the better of the exchanges.
The heart of the matter
The general consensus in the professional wrestling community is that during the WWE's annual draft i.e., Superstar Shake-Up, both brands' mid-card singles champions switch spots in the RAW and SmackDown brands respectively.
In simple terms, if the Intercontinental Champion is a part of RAW, he'd be drafted to SmackDown; whereas the US Champion who's a part of the blue brand, will move to RAW.
Accordingly, this week's episode of SmackDown Live, had current Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor officially become a part of the SmackDown brand.
Regardless, since Samoa Joe has reportedly been dealing with the flu for the past few days, "The Samoan Submission Machine" was absent from both RAW and SmackDown.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio now reports that the WWE has in fact planned for Joe to move from SmackDown to the RAW brand.
Furthermore, Meltzer noted that the WWE plans on having Joe feud with Braun Strowman, with the former's United States Championship at stake.
What's next?
Fans can expect WWE United States title holder Samoa Joe to engage in a rivalry with Braun Strowman in the days to come.
Moreover, additional details on Joe's recovery from his recent illness, are also likely to be revealed over the next few days.
Joe and Strowman are no strangers to one another, and have often battled one another in multi-person matches over the years.
