Great news for the WWE and even better news for the fans as the day draws closer of all their injured main eventers’ return. John Cena made waves in the IWC when he tweeted that he would return to the ring on the episode of RAW on 30th May.
Vince McMahon sweetened the pot when he was overheard at a meeting saying that Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt would return by June. Wrestlinginc.com reports that the episode of RAW on June 6th will be the likely date for their return, as the WWE wants to exploit the aftermath of Cena’s return to the maximum.
Bray Wyatt isn’t expected to wrestle for a while following his return, but he will most probably join the others. Given how mercurial plans can be in the WWE, this is the closest to a certainty as of now. WWE will aspire to use the two months with a full arsenal to beef up the SummerSlam match card.
Reports have emerged that Seth Rollins returned to training in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida this past weekend. Rollins tore his ACL, PCL and meniscus in a match with Kane at a live event in November last year. Orton injured his shoulder in Septembr 2015, while Bray Wyatt tore his calf in a match against Roman Reigns in Italy last month.
