One of the most entertaining parts about Monday Night Raw, to the fans, is the dynamic storyline friendship between Universal Champion, Kevin Owens, and Chris Jericho. The duo is organically comedic and gels well together. However, for a while now, they have been teasing tension and dissension between the two "best friends".
According to Cage Side Seats, we may only see JeriKo for a month or so, as the breakup angle will be going forward, perhaps starting at Survivor Series leading into Roadblock in December. If that is the case, then it is likely that the match between the two, will end up being a Universal Championship match, perhaps the main event of Roadblock.
It is not known exactly how much longer Chris Jericho is expected to remain in the WWE, but the reports seem to indicate, that by sometime early next year, he will leave to resume his work with Fozzy.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Y2J has had, what many consider to be, among the best runs of his career altogether, and the best comeback that he has had, since he stopped being with WWE full time.
Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens began their storyline friendship leading up to Summerslam, earlier this year when Kevin Owens offered to be Jericho’s partner, against Enzo & Big Cass at Summerslam. The duo successfully defeated Enzo & Cass at the biggest party of the summer.
Jericho’s run this year began as a babyface, but within a little more than a month, he turned on the fresh and new AJ Styles, and adopted the “Stupid Idiot” gimmick, and more recently “The List Of Jericho” gimmick, which has not only gotten him over with the fans, but made him one of the most popular stars on the roster today.
It truly will be a sad day when Y2J leaves again, but one thing is for sure, it won’t be the last that we’ve seen of him. And every single time he comes back, there will be something new, because no one knows how to recreate themselves, better than Chris Jericho.
A little after the minute mark, you can see Jericho teasing a feud with Owens
