Matt Hardy's WWE contract will be expiring in March and while he was recently seen on WWE TV, it may not be long before he actually leaves the company. Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select explains that Hardy is looking for something creative to do and unless that happens, he's not interested in staying with WWE.
Hardy has been doing a whole host of things on his YouTube channel, including a recent series called "Free The Delete." This led to speculation regarding his status with WWE and PW Insider (via Mandatory) reported that these were carefully planned vignettes that would lead to the eventual expiration of his contract.

On Matt Hardy's WWE status, Sean Ross Sapp said,
"We have been pretty transparent about Matt Hardy for months and months. His deal is up at the beginning of March from what I understand is, he ain't coming back unless he gets something creative and creatively satisfying."
"You see him out there, producing his own content on his own channels on YouTube, Twitter...all over the place. Guy wants to create. He wants to do cool stuff. And WWE is not having him do cool stuff right now, so he was brought back."
Sapp also said that Hardy is open to helping younger wrestlers and enjoys the various attractions that have developed within wrestling. However, he expressed his doubts over whether Hardy would stay after March, as he wants to innovate, something he's not getting the opportunity to do right now in WWE.
Will Hardy continue to stay in WWE after March? Only time will tell.
