After two weeks of scraping the bottom, this week’s RAW will hopefully be buoyed by the big names and matches that have been lined up. One of those names is Vince McMahon. The CEO of the WWE will return this week to the longest running episodic show in television history.
There is a lot of speculation over the reason for Vince’s presence and according to cagesideseats.com, there is a chance that he could show up to name who will be in charge of RAW and SmackDown.
This week and the next are huge for the WWE, with the Draft and the brand split set to return. Shane and Stephanie’s sibling rivalry is expected to be kicked up a notch with each of them continuing to try and one-up the other with whichever show they are given control over.
A few former general managers like Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero and John Laurinaitis have thrown their hats into the ring, but they aren’t really expected to be taken seriously. That being said, stranger things have been known to happen in the WWE.
Tonight’s RAW will also feature a battle royal to determine a number one contender for Miz’s Intercontinental Championship, Rusev’s United States title defense against Zack Ryder and a glimpse at how John Cena will co-exist with his new-found allies, Enzo and Cass.
