WWE CEO Vince McMahon’s dedication to his business is well known, with the North Carolina-born businessmen a billionaire once again after WWE’s recent stock run. You don’t get to be a successful captain without running a tight ship and that’s exactly what McMahon does, with the executive having formed opinions of some of WWE’s current stars – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.
The 70-year-old reportedly has his doubts about promoting the Vaudevillains, comprised of Simon Gotch and Aiden English, from NXT to the main roster, due to him being displeased with their gimmick, labelling it ‘silly’.
McMahon is also upset about the development of talents when they are promoted to the main roster, with recent call-ups not making the cut, according to him.
Apollo Crews is reportedly one of the wrestlers in the crosshairs of McMahon, and although his situation isn’t as serious as Gotch and English, he still hasn’t done enough to impress Vince as yet.
On the bright side, McMahon is pleased with the reactions to the recently injured Enzo Amore but is still not entirely convinced of his gimmick. However, Amore’s tag team partner Big Cass is one of the wrestlers who Vince likes (no surprises) and is likely to reap the benefits.
