What’s The Story?
Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman have spent almost all of 2017 in a feud that has seen the two attempt to tear each other apart. And according to the Rumour Roundup section on Cageside Seats, the war between “The Big Dog” and “The Monster Among Men” is far from over.
In Case You Didn’t Know
These two have been at each other’s throats since Strowman debuted back in August of 2015 as a member of The Wyatt Family and took out Reigns and Dean Ambrose. However, their rivalry has heated up over the past few months. Strowman cost Reigns the WWE Universal Title at Royal Rumble earlier this year; then Roman returned the favour the next night on Raw by attacking Strowman during his first ever Universal Title match.

This led to a match at Fastlane between the two men that saw Reigns survive the monster after Strowman dominated most of the match but made a costly mistake by taking to the top rope and attempting to hit a big splash. Strowman missed, and Reigns hit a huge spear for the win, handing Strowman the first singles loss of his career. Since Fastlane, the two have continued to fight tooth and nail on Raw.
They actually attempted to have a Fastlane rematch a few weeks ago on Raw, but the match was interrupted by The Undertaker, who faces Reigns at Wrestlemania.
The Heart of The Matter
“The Big Dog” may be facing one of the toughest challenges of his career this Sunday at Wrestlemania when he takes on The Undertaker, but his feud with “The Monster Among Men” is far from over. Cageside Seats is reporting that as soon as the match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania is over, Reigns will continue feuding with Braun Strowman.
What’s Next?
WrestleMania is just around the corner. Roman Reigns is in a marquee match with The Undertaker, and Braun Strowman is set to walk away with a dominant victory in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Author’s Take
While I would love to see Roman and Braun move on to feud with some fresh blood, there will be plenty of time for that moving forward. These two need to finish this feud off in a way that is satisfying for most fans. That means Strowman needs to conquer Reigns and move into the Universal title picture.
