What's the story?

Sasha Banks was reportedly injured at The Royal Rumble in her match with Ronda Rousey which forced WWE to change plans for Monday Night Raw.

In case you didn't know...

Ronda Rousey has quite a reputation when it comes to injuries in WWE since the former UFC Champion is reportedly responsible for Alexa Bliss' stay on the sidelines over the past few months.

Rousey was taken to her limit by Sasha Banks last month as part of WWE's first event of the year, but she was still able to come out on top and retain her Raw Women's Championship once again.

The heart of the matter

Following her injury at The Rumble, WWE was reportedly forced to change plans for Sasha Banks on Monday Night Raw, since the former Women's Champion was unable to be cleared for competition.

Banks and Bayley were expected to qualify for the Elimination Chamber last week on Raw but this had to be changed and according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer instead, Banks and Bayley are expected to qualify on Raw tonight.

“Sasha Banks and Bayley were supposed to do that qualifying match last Monday and I guess they didn’t do it. So that’s why it’s this Monday because she probably wasn’t cleared," via Ringsidenews.

What's next?

Sasha Banks is expected to be part of Monday Night Raw tonight since the former Raw Women's Champion and her longtime partner Bayley are expected to qualify for the Women's Tag Team Championship match at Elimination Chamber after the graphic was leaked as part of an advert that showed the two women as part of the show.

Do you think Sasha Banks will be cleared in time for Raw tonight? Have your say in the comments section?
