The match between Rousey and Riott had the same finish as the night before as Riott was defeated by the Raw Women's Champion even though The Riott Squad were at ringside to offer her the advantage.
The heart of the matter
Ronda Rousey's match on Raw gained her a lot of negative attention on Social Media because of the botches that took place as part of it, but it appears that this wasn't Rousey or Riott's fault since the match was changed at the last minute because it needed to be much longer than the original plan.
According to a report by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, Rousey's original opponent for Raw was Alexa Blis where she was supposed to job in a short match, but after Rollins wasn't cleared, the company was forced to add time to Rousey's match and decided that Riott and the former UFC Champion would be much more comfortable putting together a lengthy match.
What's next?
Ronda Rousey will defend her Raw Women's Championship at Fastlane but it is currently unknown how who Rousey's opponent at the final pay-per-view ahead of WrestleMania will be.
