What's the story?
Shawn Michaels is one of the biggest legends of the business and regarded by many as one of the greatest of all time, but could he be set to make his in-ring return at WrestleMania 35?
In case you didn't know...
Shawn Michaels was forced to retire from in-ring competition back at WrestleMania 26 when he lost his match to The Undertaker and was forced to walk away. Michaels claimed that he wanted to be the only wrestler in WWE who could retire without coming back numerous times and for eight years, he was able to keep his word.

Michaels then made his return to team with Triple H at Crown Jewel last month in a winning effort against The Undertaker and Kane, which allowed him a form of retribution following his retirement.
The heart of the matter
Michaels stated that he was going back to reality following Crown Jewel and hasn't returned to the business since, but he is expected to make his return to the ring at WrestleMania 35 and could have an interesting opponent.
According to Joe Peisich on a recent episode of Barnburner‘s No Holds Barred podcast, Michaels has been penciled in for a match against current WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.
“Also look for penciled could be Shawn Michaels vs Daniel Bryan. Student against teacher for WrestleMania," he said via Ringsidenews.
What's next?
Daniel Bryan is currently embroiled in a feud with AJ Styles and it's unknown as to whether or not he will be WWE Champion for WrestleMania season, but it is well known that Bryan was once part of Michaels' training school and he could be the perfect star to bring the old Bryan back.
