What’s the story?
Former WWE Superstar X-Pac will wrestle his final match in the United Kingdom this Sunday in a 6-man tag-team matchup for British professional wrestling promotion IPW: UK (International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom).
In case you didn’t know...
X-Pac (real name- Sean Waltman) is a WCW and WWE veteran best known for his time in the NWO and D-Generation X. A veteran of the business since 1989, X-Pac has also performed for TNA/Impact Wrestling as well as several indie promotions the world over.

The heart of the matter
The 44-year old X-Pac has reportedly decided to bid adieu to the sport of professional wrestling and will perform in his final match on April 30th at an IPW: UK show in a 6-man tag team match alongside Chakara and Scott Star against the team of Sammy Smooth, Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted and Livvii Grace.
Here’s what IPW: UK promoter Daniel Edler had to say regarding the same:
“X-Pac is someone I always wanted to get on a show and I am so pleased to finally do it. I saw some photos of him recently and he is in such great shape. Obviously he is coming to the end of his in-ring career and in the past few years he has protected his body by only doing tag matches.”
“We know as well as he does, he could definitely do a singles match but he would probably be in a lot worse shape right now for it. He is protecting himself and being sensible and he can definitely still go.I saw a few matches from his last UK tour a couple of years ago and he really put a solid shift in and his physical appearance has only got better since then.”
What’s next?
X-Pac, Scott Star and Chakara vs. Sammy Smooth, Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted and Livvii Grace takes place at the Clapham Grand in St. John’s Hill, London on April 30th.

After a career spanning nearly three decades, X-Pac has finally decided to hang up his boots. Say what you may about the man, X-Pac heat and all, he’s a legend of our sport and is rightfully regarded as a member of the Kliq.
Then again, this is the wrasslin’ business after all. And if you happen to chance upon Waltman aka X-Pac jumping into the ring once again a couple of months down the line, don’t be surprised. Remember when Kurt Angle declared his retirement from the sport, in TNA, and was then spotted performing at indie wrestling shows a few days later? Yep. That’s pro-wrestling for you fellas!
