What’s the story?
The return of Finn Balor has been one of the most-talked-about topics this WrestleMania season. We reported earlier that he will probably return on the night after WrestleMania. Recently, Balor made his return from injury during a Live Event. In the past few weeks, he has been making regular appearances at Raw’s untelevised Live Events.
The heart of the matter
As per Cageside Seats' Rumor Roundup, Finn Balor is most likely to be in the Universal title picture immediately upon his return.
Brock Lesnar is almost certain to win the Universal Championship at WrestleMania, and a feud with Finn Balor could have major box office appeal.
What next?
WrestleMania 33 takes place on April 2, 2017, at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Finn Balor's first opponent on his return could well be determined in the match between Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar.
Author’s take
Finn has been making appearances in the Live Events as a face. We can expect him to continue this trend immediately upon his return. Going against a heel Brock Lesnar is something Finn Balor might not enjoy a lot, but the fans will surely love it. Given Heyman’s magic with mic, Balor’s incredible ability and in-ring expertise, and Brock’s incredible power and speed in the ring, we can surely expect magic when these two Superstars collide.
