The WWE Draft may be over, but rumours surrounding the returns of various former Superstars into the WWE fold hasn’t died down quite yet.
This time around, the names that are floated belong to fomer WWE Tag Team Champion, Shelton Benjamin, and former US Champion, MVP.
According to Teddy Long’s assertion in the Gerweck Report Podcast that aired on Wednesday, he had personally been in contact with MVP, who assured him that both him and Shelton Benjamin were going to join up with the WWE again.
As it is unsure if Teddy Long is actually in the know regarding this though, it would be better to take what he says with a grain of salt. However, it is worth noting that both MVP and Shelton Benjamin have been linked with a potential return in the past few weeks.
Benjamin, who was the college roommate of Brock Lesnar, was part of Team Angle and known for his impressive athleticism and in-ring abilty in his initial run in the company. MVP was also pushed by the WWE initially, but left to join NJPW in early 2011 when his character started to stagnate.
