In the latest development regarding the fate of the Women’s division after the brand split, the word on the street is that while the WWE were initially planning to have the whole division on only one show, they have begun to consider the possibility of fielding separate rosters now.
As rumoured on cagesideseats.com, the WWE was planning to restrict the Women’s division to only one roster initially, and perhaps with good reason given that the strength in number just wasn’t there to allow a division into both brands.
But if this latest development is to be believed, they are now considering the possibility of having two distinct talent pools in either brand and are planning increase the size of the rosters by scooping up NXT talent onto the main roster.
As of now, Bayley, Nia Jax and Carmella are believed to be the names thrown into the mix for a call-up come brand split. Bayley is the last remaining member of the Four Horsewomen stable who hasn’t yet had a taste of the main roster, and her call-up has been impending these past few months.
