Ryback issues challenge to Owens, Lumberjack match announced, Dudleys and more

- Ryback and his Intercontinental title reign is meeting the same fate as it always does, being undervalued and irrelevant, but recent segments on RAW could mean there might be a resurgence.

As seen in this week’s RAW, Kevin Owens confronted Ryback backstage while he was in an interview with Renne Young. Owens was at his best munching on an apple and warned Ryback that to not chew more than he can eat. It surely infuriated The Big Guy and after tonight's SmackDown challenged Kevin Owens to a match in a dark segment.

Right after, Ryback was attacked by WWE World Heavyweight and US Champion Seth Rollins from behind to avenge his loss at RAW probably. His attack backfired as Ryback countered the Pedigree and hit Rollins with the ShellShock to send the crowd, mostly full of kids back home pretty happy.

- Seth Rollins will face Ryback in this week’s SmackDown main event in a Lumberjack match. The Champion vs Champion match would include The Dudley Boyz, The Ascension, Heath Slater, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Zack Ryder, The Prime Time Players, The Lucha Dragons, Fandango, Curtis Axel, Stardust, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Neville and Big Show as the Lumberjacks.

- The Dudley Boyz have come and infused a lot of energy into the WWE tag team division and the WWE is using to them to bolster other brands of TV too by having them in matches. They had a dark match at tonight’s WWE Main Event tapings in Wilkes-Barre, PA against Brad Maddox and Heath Slater. Maddox took a Dudley Death Drop to end the match.
