Huge push and future world title shot rumored for Ryback

Ryback’s sudden change in look and an impromptu heel turn came as a surprise to many, but what would come as a major shocker is WWE’s rumored plans for the Big Guy. According to Cagesideseats, WWE may have plans of setting up Ryback for a huge World title match in the near future.

Backstage sources claim that his current run as a heel is to build him up for a feud with future WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. If that’s the case, expect Ryback to be involved in a few big name feuds en route to a potential program with Reigns.

These are just rumors for now and WWE could very well drop the ball on him if things don’t go as planned.

Ryback’s previous pushes also withered away, but if he does get one this time around, it would certainly be a long lasting phenomenon for sure. Ryback himself has shown the vigour to grab the brass rings, which has been evident in his promos and interveiws over the past few months.

After lingering in the mid card with no direction for this long, this could be the breakout moment for a heel Ryback. Another factor that supports the possibility of the push is the dearth of top heels in the WWE, and pushing Ryback as a monster heel may be the best option in the moment of crisis.
