Ronda Rousey came to the ring and said she wanted to create a tradition where a champion defends her title immediately after a pay per view. While Asuka would do just that on SmackDown the following night, her opponent was to be decided in a gauntlet match.
Natalya won the bout and the two will have a match on tomorrow night's Christmas Eve episode. We'll see how the unfortunate timing affects the numbers next week.
