Over the years, WWE has told multiple stories in the women’s division all at once. Today, on RAW, Alexa Bliss is in a rivalry with Eva Marie and Doudrop. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan was developing a rivalry with WWE authority figure Sonya Deville on Smackdown leading up to Money In The Bank.

As Nikki A.S.H. defends her RAW Women’s Championship at WWE SummerSlam, it’s likely that the women who don’t walk out as champions will move on to something else while the champion seeks new challengers.

If Charlotte Flair is unable to win the Championship, she could benefit from the rumored Queen of the Ring tournament. The tournament itself, should it happen, can serve as a visual for how things could be with a new women’s championship.
