Sami Zayn's in-ring return date announced by the WWE

Exciting times ahead for Sami Zayn

– Sami Zayn has been out with an injury for a long time now.

Zayn injured his shoulder during a match in May and it proved to be a very untimely one. Zayn made his main roster debut and wrestled an excellent match against John Cena for the United States Championship during one of Cena’s open challenges.

Zayn lost the match but won loads of respect from fans all around.

His time on the sidelines has resulted in Zayn making sporadic appearances mostly for EVOLVE Wrestling, which has had some sort of a tie-up with the WWE.

It has now been confirmed that Zayn would be appearing during the NXT Tour of UK which starts this week. In recent times, there has been a huge speculation about Sami Zayn making a wrestling comeback or just an appearance on the show.

His in-ring return has now been confirmed by the WWE and fans would be excited with this piece of news.

Sami will make his comeback and wrestle in a triple threat match at the NXT UK Tour on Saturday in Sheffield, England. Sami will face the NXT Champion Finn Balor and ‘The Lone Wolf’ Baron Corbin which already seems to be a classic encounter in the making.

Sami is praised highly for his in-ring talent and unparalleled connection with the fans – which has made him somewhat of a cult figure in the independent wrestling scene where he was known as El Generico.

It looks like Sami will also be appearing at the NXT Takeover London event. The Sheffield event also features other superstars. NXT Women's Champion Bayley will face Emma and Apollo Crews will go up against Samoa Joe during the event.
