Interestingly, the highly anticipated episode may show Drew McIntyre getting his sweet and cold revenge. Gunther could also lose his title. Here are the six matches confirmed for the inaugural Saturday Night Show.

#6 Finals of the WWE Women’s United States Championship

The Women’s Division has finally received two new singles championships after several years of anticipation from fans and wrestlers alike. The finals of the Women’s United States Championship for the SmackDown brand will be held this Saturday to determine the inaugural titleholder for the US Championship.

Chelsea Green will face Bayley, and Mia Yim will face Tiffany Stratton in the semifinal round of the tourney to determine the finalists on Friday Night SmackDown.

It would be interesting to see which of these women becomes the first-ever US Champion.

#5 Liv Morgan will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY

IYO SKY earned her title shot against Liv Morgan after winning a 15-woman Battle Royal in Riyadh ahead of Crown Jewel. The former WWE Women’s Champion defeated The Judgment Day member in a WarGames match at the Survivor Series.

Heading into the match, she will have Damage CTRL watching her back against Morgan’s crew. Will The Genius of The SKY finally dethrone to restore her lost glory at WrestleMania XL?

#3 Sami Zayn wants to put Drew McIntyre in his place

Last week on WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre made a surprising comeback and ambushed Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. The Scottish Psychopath said in a promo this week that he was striking down the people who forgot the atrocities of Roman Reigns and helped him at the Survivor Series. Thus, he is out on a quest for revenge to nurse his wounds dating back to the 2022 Clash at the Castle.

On the other hand, Sami Zayn wants to teach McIntyre a lesson and says that the latter blames everyone else for his problems but himself. Both stars also got into a backstage brawl after The Scottish Warrior jumped him again this week on RAW.

#2 Gunther receives a Triple Threat to his title reign

Because of Finn Balor's interference, Gunther narrowly escaped losing his World Heavyweight Championship to Damian Priest at The Survivor Series. After badgering Adam Pearce and demolishing The Ring General with three Coup de Graces, Balor received a title shot at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

However, Balor jeopardized his chance to become a WWE world champ this week by launching another attack on Gunther. This prompted Damian Priest to get involved in the slugfest as well. While The Prince prevailed with The Judgment Day by his side, the RAW General Manager added Priest to the title match on Saturday.

Because of this, Gunther risks losing his title without getting pinned in a Triple Threat match. Moreover, he is forced into a no-disqualifications match, where Balor has the advantage because of his faction. It would be interesting to see if The Ring General can hold onto his world title at the end of Saturday.

#1 Cody Rhodes to finally get in the ring with Kevin Owens

The tension between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes is white hot at the moment, with both wrestlers wanting to tear each other apart. The Prizefighter has blamed Rhodes for his unexpected attack on Randy Orton, in which he injured his neck via a Piledriver after the Undisputed Champ helped Roman Reigns at Bad Blood.

Moreover, other heels like Carmelo Hayes and Chad Gable have also angered The American Nightmare by taking Owens’ side. It would be interesting to see the anger of which of these two wrestlers prevails at the inaugural episode of WWE Main Event.
