#1 Putting the spotlight on Samoa Joe at the expense of Ali

Samoa Joe is all prepared to take on The King of the Cruiserweights Rey Mysterio at the Show of Shows to defend his United States Championship.
Mysterio competed on Raw this week and battled Baron Corbin instead of his scheduled match against Kurt Angle. Mysterio lost the match to his bigger opponent which dented his chances for a victory on Sunday.
Joe, on the other hand, was fed another former cruiserweight competitor in the form of Ali. Ali was one of the hottest superstars on the blue brand a few months ago but has been directionless since his return from an injury.
Ali took the fall to show Joe's dominance, especially against smaller opponents, to build him for his championship defense clash on Sunday.
Instead, the creatives should have used an underused superstar to take the fall or some other superstar from the mid-card which would have done the same for Joe and protected Ali in the process.
On the other hand, we all know what one superstar losing and another winning right before a major event means.
