WWE SmackDown: 3 huge mistakes made this week on the Road to WrestleMania (March 26, 2019)

#1 Handed Charlotte the Championship

If WWE had to hand Charlotte the Women’s Championship and disrespect Asuka once again, at least they should have waited till WrestleMania.

The match between Charlotte and Asuka on SmackDown last night was top notch. There wasn’t much that should have changed, except for the result.

Instead, WWE could have made a greater storyline by putting Charlotte into the number one contender’s match and making her win that. Then Charlotte could have battled Asuka at WrestleMania 35 under the stipulation that if Charlotte wins the title, she will be taken out of the Raw Women’s Championship match.

This could have helped WWE pull off a surprise for the fans and given then Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey one-on-one for the Raw Women’s Championship in the main event.

WWE surely missed a trick there which could have allowed them to crown Charlotte the champion once again and given the fans what they want.
