#1 Bill Goldberg returns

A potential return of the former Universal Champion on the blue brand would be huge.

WWE has advertised a Finn Balor versus Dolph Ziggler matchup for the upcoming episode of SmackDown. However, it could very well turn into something more, if WWE decides to have Bill Goldberg return, this Tuesday night.

Yes, rumor has it that WWE is planning a huge matchup between Bill Goldberg and Dolph Ziggler for the biggest WWE event of the summer on August 11. Thus, creative could have The Show-off attack Finn Balor after their match this Tuesday night only for the former WCW Champ to show up to make the save.

This would then lay down the breadcrumbs for a blockbuster matchup between the duo at SummerSlam.

On another note, as I have said it before, Dolph Ziggler seems to be the perfect opponent for Goldberg as he can take bumps like a champ and can sell almost anything. Thus, this match could prove to be one of the dark horses, if WWE plans it for SummerSlam.
