At WrestleMania, WWE tried to show their monster from the blue brand and his aggression after winning the United States Championship, perfectly.

They managed to give Samoa Joe a quick and dominating win over Rey Mysterio, and also save time for the clash between Triple H and Batista.

Joe once again emerged on SmackDown two days after his quick victory and manhandled R-Truth. While it seemed as though he was being built as an unstoppable force, the creative had other plans in mind.

Joe was soon met by The Monster Among Men, who dominated SmackDown’s monster for most of the period, even though Joe tried to fight back. In the end, Joe was seen running away, which made little sense as he was just being built like an unstoppable force only a few moments earlier.

What was the point of giving Joe a squash victory at WrestleMania when he had to embarrass himself only two nights later?
