Last week on WWE SmackDown, did we see the tease of a heel faction led by King Corbin which would also comprise John Morrison and The Miz. This would potentially allow them to feud with The New Day on SmackDown provided Xavier Woods makes a return to the company anytime soon.

Another benefit of such a faction would be a potential feud with The Undisputed ERA provided the plan is to bring them to SmackDown, as has been speculated by fans on Twitter. In any case, it keeps all three men in the spotlight and helps them to not slip into obscurity as has been the case with so many WWE Superstars.
Could we see this loose alliance form a cohesive unit on this week's episode of SmackDown? And when they come together, could they potentially take the fight to Matt Riddle?
These are just surprises that I have come up with as a fan, much like you, and I do not claim to have inside knowledge of the inner workings of SmackDown.
