The New Day teamed up with The Lucha House Party on SmackDown to take on Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura as well as Miz and Morrison (hey hey, ho ho) last week. What followed was a fabulous match that not only showed the depth of the SmackDown tag team division but put the spotlight firmly on Gran Metalik, who was definitely the breakout star for the night.

But what is the point of winning a big match if it doesn't get you one step closer to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, I wonder. And this is why, with The Forgotten Sons away from the SmackDown Tag Team Championship picture, one can totally imagine The Lucha House Party taking the fight to the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The New Day.
Cesaro and Sheamus seem like the frontrunners for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at the moment. But maybe we could see a triple threat match unfold at Extreme Rules: The Horror Show?
