RAW chose to end the decade in spectacular fashion with the wedding of Bobby Lashley and Lana. This segment made waves because Liv Morgan would return to WWE in spectacular fashion, alleging that she was Lana's former lover. And then Rusev would pop right out of a cake and bring the segment and the entire decade to a very shocking conclusion.
The numbers for the segment are really high on Youtube, and even RAW's viewership went up with the wedding segment quite significantly. WWE has the chance to replicate this success on SmackDown as well with Mandy Rose, Otis, and Ziggler. People love a love triangle and this is why the storyline has commenced on the blue brand right now.
Only a certain NXT crowd loves in-ring action for the sake of action, while the majority of the casual fanbase just wants drama and entertainment.
