The only kind of build ahead of Survivor Series for the WWE Intercontinental Championship vs. WWE United States Championship match has been through brief mentions during the show and on social media, as can be seen below, from the interactions between WWE SmackDown star Sami Zayn, and RAW star Bobby Lashley. And this makes one wonder if there will actually be a major title change on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown.

So fitting that a call for peace is met with aggression from the United States champion. https://t.co/GkV7FilT97
Female superstar says she inspired John Cena turning heel HERE
Could someone like Otis, who is not in the Survivor Series team climb up the ranks once again by picking up a major title on this week's episode? Could he be the man to unseat the current WWE Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn, and move on to Survivor Series to face Bobby Lashley in a battle of might?
There are many other contenders for this spot in the WWE SmackDown roster, but another likely Champion could be someone like Daniel Bryan if the plans are to have Kevin Owens feud with Roman Reigns next.
