Why are the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions getting distracted to such an extent that they are losing their big match via rollup? One understands that you need to create hype before a big showdown, but honestly, because The Lucha House Party were on the verge of splitting up anyway in a former episode of WWE SmackDown, one wonders if there's any point in having them pick up this big win? Wouldn't it have been better served by rewarding an actual WWE SmackDown team who could have benefited, such as Heavy Machinery?

Maybe the plan is to unite the WWE SmackDown and RAW tag team Championships and yes, that could be for the best, in the long run.
Even though Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura hold the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships at the moment, it is no secret that they really haven't been the most prominently featured performers or the best-booked team in the roster. Tag team wrestling truly is an afterthought on WWE SmackDown.
