Natalya is one of the greatest of all time, and one could even make a case for her to be in the WWE Hall of Fame at some point in the future. But, at the same time, it was really weird to see her defeat Bayley clean on this week's edition of WWE SmackDown with a sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Especially if you consider how prominently Bayley has been featured in the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship picture.
Remember how many times Natalya lost before she got into the WWE SmackDown Women's Survivor Series Team?
One wonders if Bayley has lost favor with the office or if Natalya is being primed for a massive push, in the days to come, to build her up as a credible opponent for Sasha Banks and the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship in due course of time.
These are the only two explanations for what played out on WWE SmackDown this week because no other reasoning makes sense, at this particular point in time.
