Corey Graves interviewed Lars Sullivan in a mess of an interview on WWE SmackDown this week. It was unclear if the company was trying to make us sympathize with Sullivan with the bullying that he endured for being a 'freak', or if indeed, they were trying to portray that this WWE SmackDown star was absolutely unhinged.

What threw the WWE SmackDown segment completely off the rails was when Corey Graves asked Lars Sullivan if he preferred to be called The Freak. Even by WWE standards of scripting, this was possibly a new low and made the whole segment come across as contrived.

Lars Sullivan has a great look and with the right kind of manager, he could certainly become a breakout star in due course.

The company really needs to put him in the hands of someone like Paul Heyman or even pair him with a ruthless manager that does all the talking for him. The whole 'freak' thing over and over again just isn't working.
