#2 Momentum is with Orton
So far in this feud, Randy Orton has come out as the stronger person. He may have lost his SummerSlam bout against the WWE Champion but that match had no real hype to it because of the lack of build in the weeks prior.
As a result, the feud was reignited following the Biggest Party of the Summer and since then, it has been Orton with the dominance against his rival. He formed an unusual alliance with The Revival to make a stable of his own and battle Kofi Kingston’s New Day.
At Clash of Champions, the three members of both stables are set to lock horns against each other as The Revival are facing Xavier Woods and Big E for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles while Orton faces Kingston for the WWE Title.
None of the previous challengers formed such a strong 3-man stable as Orton has and while there has been a lack of proper story in the current feud, Orton has gained a lot of moment in the past few weeks and that might allow him to win the WWE Championship at Clash of Champions.
