WWE SmackDown Live: 3 Things WWE should have avoided on this week's show (25 June)

#2 Similar matches and feuds being showcased on both brands

Let me get this straight, the New Day has been feuding with both Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for over a month and both these teams get to showcase their rivalry on both brands, while Superstars such as Rusev, Robert Roode, Ali, etc. don't get screen time.

Another thing that bothered me this week was similar matches being set up after one has already finished. The New Day defeated the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan but soon after that, an 8-man tag team match was set up with Kevin & Sami and the Heavy Machinery being added. I don't think the WWE Universe really likes to see matches being set up without making much sense.

#1 Too much spotlight on Shane McMahon yet again

Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon

I understand Shane McMahon is getting a push as a heel but that doesn't mean we have to see him on both brands. Also, Shane is currently in a feud involving two Superstars, namely Roman Reigns and The Miz and I don't know what sense to make out of that.

The Miz just keeps on getting smashed by Shane and his compatriots, but he still keeps feuding with them. If WWE keep up this daily dose of Shane on WWE TV, it wouldn't be long before the WWE Universe stops caring about the Best in the World.
