Kevin Owens was once again dragged into Shane McMahon's drama this week on SmackDown Live when The Best In The World stepped in for Elias when it was revealed that The Drifter had suffered a broken ankle.

McMahon made Kevin Owens the special guest referee for his match against Chad Gable in the King of the Ring semi-final in the hopes that Owens would help him to win and if he did then he would forget all about fining him $100,000.

Of course, Owens tried to help McMahon because he wanted the fine to be cleared off, but Shane McMahon tapped to the ankle lock which meant that he lost the match anyway. Following the match The Best in the World fired Kevin Owens once again.

It is unknown if Kevin Owens will be heading over to Monday Night RAW like the last time he was fired, or even head back to NXT, as he hinted in his tweet after getting fired.
