Naomi and Alexa Bliss look poised to feud until Becky Lynch returns

This was a solid bout that combined the two feuds in the women’s division together, as it appears Naomi will be a placeholder rival for Alexa Bliss until Becky Lynch returns from injury. A backstage segment showing Carmella attacking Nikki Bella earlier on in the night emphasised that the Bella-Carmella feud is far from over.

Although the Nikki Bella interference was predictable, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t effective booking. Naomi was allowed to continue her momentum with another nice win, and Carmella and Nikki Bella’s rivalry was again centre stage as a rematch appears inevitable.

Overall, an effective segment that allowed both the feuds in the women’s division to intensify, as Naomi and Alexa Bliss are set to clash on next week’s episode of Smackdown Live per Daniel Bryan.
