The staler Rollins’ act has become, the more heat he has faced. It is not like the situation that Kofi Kingston faced since he just lost most of the momentum that he had in the initial months of the year but wasn’t facing any heat from the fans.
With Kingston, most fans were just losing interest in him as the champion. In the case of Rollins, however, not only has his babyface character become stale, he is also getting a negative reaction from the fans – something that you would expect a heel to be getting.
It all began when Seth Rollins thought it was wise to use the money in his bank account as a comeback in a Twitter feud against Will Ospreay. Most fans didn’t appreciate Rollins’ lack of humility at the time.
Indeed, there is actually very well-written article on the issue by Sportskeeda’s very own Riju Dasgupta, who shed light on the possible reasons on why fans are treating Rollins like this.
Since he is already getting the heat, WWE could use it in Rollins’ favor by turning him heel.
