The best part about Seth Rollins turning heel would be that the seeds were being sown for a while now. It all began at WrestleMania when he used devious means to slay The Beast Brock Lesnar.
Rollins went low against Lesnar, unbeknownst to the referee, and used the advantage to win the title. He went low again when Brock Lesnar wanted to cash in the Money in the Bank contract at Super ShowDown, and he saved himself from The Beast.
And while he did beat him clean at SummerSlam, Rollins went to the dark side once against while facing The Fiend at Hell in a Cell. The Fiend was lying on the mat when Rollins tried everything he can to inflict pain on him.
A chair shot to the head, chair sandwiched inside the ladder placed over Bray Wyatt and smashing it with a box… you name it. The darkness took another turn for the worse when he smashed a sledgehammer over the ladder placed on The Fiend, forcing the referee to stop the match.
His acts inside the Cell weren’t something a babyface would do – he showed that he was willing to dive deep into the abyss of his mind and do anything to keep The Fiend down.
