#1 Huge impact
If history has taught us anything, it is that the most commonly used tactic to cover up a massive mistake is to divert the attention to something else – something bigger.
People will always talk about a controversy until another controversial thing happens.

In this case, the WWE Universe are unhappy with the way the Hell in a Cell match between Seth Rollins and The Fiend Bray Wyatt ended. Most of the talk is still about that but imagine if Seth Rollins turns heel against his ‘brother’… it is going to be a headline-grabbing moment, with fans moving on from the Hell in a Cell incident.
Both Rollins and Reigns are the two biggest male Superstars in the company right now. On top of that, they have a history together, making the impact of the heel turn huge due to the personal level at which it would strike.
The last time Rollins turned heel, it caused havoc among the fans, and we could expect a similar impact – if not bigger – this time around due to the fact that both are much bigger stars right now than they were back in 2014.
Not only will a Rollins heel turn allow Reigns to take a loss – since it won’t be clean – it could also pave the way for a potential feud between two of WWE’s biggest Superstars.
If not that, then at least Rollins will get the change that his character needs, which will also open up a wide range of possibilities with future feuds as Rollins as a heel is a work of art (as he showed in the past).
