As Zayn was celebrating after the match, Corbin assaulted him from behind. He sent Sami hurling out to ringside before tossing him onto the announce table. Corbin then smashed Zayn with a steel chair before starting hitting a helpless Zayn with forearms as the officials stood there helpless.
Corbin continued the beatdown in the crowd before finally walking away, leaving Sami laying in a heap.
