Now that the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions are heel superstars, there is basically no point in having Miz and Morrison stay together as a unit on WWE SmackDown. Especially if you consider the rumors that The Miz is supposedly the leader of RETRIBUTION, which may entail a move from WWE SmackDown to RAW in the near future.
And so, The Miz could turn on John Morrison on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown, out of the blue.
Not only would this allow for a Miz vs. Morrison feud to play out on WWE SmackDown which could be very interesting indeed, but more importantly, it could afford more freedom to someone like John Morrison, a man whose athleticism has been impaired by the fact that he is a heel and cannot necessarily do flashy moves.

Well, WWE SmackDown is later this week, but if you wish to get a basic rundown of RAW after Payback, be sure to catch Sportskeeda's own Chris Featherstone in conversation with WWE Hall of Famer- Road Warrior Animal in the link posted above.
