Last week on WWE SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode managed to secure a win over The Street Profits. Thus, we might soon see them challenge Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford for the tag team titles. Both Ziggler and Roode have been after the titles for quite some time now, and they finally have a shot at the gold.

Ziggler and Roode were initially scheduled to challenge The Street Profits for the RAW Tag Team Championships before they were drafted to the Blue brand. Now that they have secured a victory over the reigning champions, both teams are expected to be involved in a compelling title rivalry on WWE SmackDown.

The Street Profits have had a great run as tag team champions so far – both on WWE SmackDown as well as on RAW. They could use a few tough opponents that will help in adding more substance to their dominant run. It will be interesting to see if this rivalry will extend until TLC later this month and how it will affect the Superstars involved.
