AJ Styles (c) vs. Daniel Bryan - WWE Championship match

AJ started out on the offensive and Bryan seemed more aggressive than usual. AJ sent Bryan outside and leapt after him over the ropes. After the break, AJ attacked Bryan's knee but took a big spin kick. Styles was about to do a springboard but Bryan pushed him right off the ropes.

Bryan and AJ brawled outside and AJ was sent into the ring post. Bryan was trying to weaken AJ's left arm and got a near fall over the champ. Both men ran into each other and took each other out in the middle of the ring as we headed for commercials.

Bryan hit a Hurricanrana off the top rope but AJ hit the Pele kick. AJ was caught upside down on the corner and Bryan hit a dropkick. Bryan hit a big superplex but missed the It kicks. He reversed a Styles Clash but took another Pele kick.

A springboard 450 from AJ was met by Bryan's knees and Daniel followed with the Yes Lock but AJ found the ropes. AJ locked in the Calf Crusher and Bryan reversed it into the Yes lock but AJ got out.

Styles hit the referee by accident and Bryan hit a low blow and then the running knee for the win.

Result: Daniel Bryan def. AJ Styles and became the new WWE Champion

Bryan attacked AJ after the match and looked at the title, giving an evil smile; a shocking heel turn from Bryan ended the show as the crowd relentlessly booed him
