#8 Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin

Jack Swagger makes his in-ring SmackDown Live debut against Baron Corbin. Swagger has the upper hand during the initial stages before The Lone Wolf gains the momentum after nailing the Deep Six. JBL has just professed that Corbin has the potential to be a future World Champion.

Swagger hits a belly-to-belly to fight back and follows it with an Ankle Lock. As Corbin makes his way towards the rope the referee mistakes it for tapping out and rings the bell.

Result: Jack Swagger defeats Baron Corbin via submission

Corbin is furious by the referee’s controversial decision while Swagger celebrates a victory on his SmackDown debut. The Lone Wolf then goes on a rampage destroying the steel steps. There were shades of Montreal Screwjob there, just shades though.
