WWE SmackDown Results: CM Punk reveals reason for joining Roman Reigns; returning star takes out top champ (11/29/2024)

Bianca Belair, Naomi, IYO SKY, Bayley, and Rhea Ripley kicked off WWE SmackDown. Rhea said that they weren't best friends but it didn't matter since tomorrow at Survivor Series, they would walk away with the win.

Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Candice LeRae, and Nia Jax showed up as well. Liv laughed at their confidence and Jax said that said that the babyface team was going to implode before they got to the match.

Morgan insinuated that Bayley attacked Jade Cargill so that she could take her spot and Rhea told her to shut it. Ripley threatened to cave Liv's face in before the two teams started a big brawl.

WWE SmackDown Results: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Andrade

Andrade was in control early on and hit a big crossbody off the ropes before Nakamura got a shoulder tackle but took a dropkick. Andrade came back with a Dragon Screw and got a few moonsaults but the Message was denied.

Nakamura took the three amigos and was sent into the corner before managing to rip one of the turnbuckle covers off. Shinsuke set Andrade up on the exposed steel and hit the Kinshasa for the win.

Result: Shinsuke Nakamura def. Andrade

After the match, LA Knight tried to attack Nakamura but was hit with the mist.

Grade: B

Ciampa and Gargano were arguing backstage about whether they were losers or not.

We also saw Kevin Owens in a promo where he recalled his run-ins with the Bloodline and how they injured him, bringing us to why he was set to face Cody Rhodes on Saturday.

WWE SmackDown Results: Cody Rhodes vs. Carmelo Hayes

Hayes got some big moves early on but Rhodes came back with some chops and strikes. Melo slapped Cody in the face before Hayes was sent outside and hit with the dive into the apron.

Cody got a big superplex and the Beautiful Disaster. The two traded big right-hands before Rhodes almost got the Cody Cutter. Melo missed a top rope move before taking the Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes for the win.

Result: Cody Rhodes def. Carmelo Hayes

CM Punk and Roman Reigns were having a sit-down mediated by Paul Heyman. Punk showed up late and said that he was only there for Heyman. Roman responded that he didn't like Punk and that he didn't want him on the team.

Heyman pointed out that Roman needed Punk's help so that Solo wouldn't entirely wipe out the OG bloodline. Punk said that he didn't like Roman either but he wanted revenge on Solo and that this was a one-time situation and they could go back to hating each other right after.

WWE SmackDown Results: Piper Niven vs. Lash Legend vs. Michin

Michin started strong but took a big crossbody from Niven for a near fall as Legend broke it up. Michin got the Poison Rana on Legend before taking them both down with a Moonsault to the floor.

B-Fab ran in and attacked Chelsea Green at ringside as the match went on, distracting Piper Niven. Legend got a pump kick before getting a chokeslam on Niven for two near falls.

Michin took a powerbomb as well from Legend before the latter hit the Lash Extension on Niven. Michin ran in with a senton and stole the win.

Result: Michin def. Lash Legend & Piper Niven

Grade: B

LA Knight was backstage and said that he would slam Nakamura's head on the mat and get the win.

WWE SmackDown Results: Jey Uso vs. Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu was in control early on and both the OG and the New Bloodline were banned from ringside for this match. Jey managed to send him outside and hit a big dive but was caught and tossed into the ringpost and the announce table.

Jey came back with some big strikes but took a big spinning slam before Jacob headed up top. Uso got his knees up for the moonsault and hit a spear before getting the Uso Splash for a near fall.

Jey sent Fatu into the announcers' desk with a big dive before Fatu got a Samoan Drop on top of the table. Back in the ring, Fatu got the Moonsault for the clean-ish win.

Result: Jacob Fatu def. Jey Uso
