The New Day were out to accept Daniel Bryan's offer for a tag title rematch and the former champs came out on cue but then walked out. Bryan and Rowan came back but Bryan couldn't speak so he just left with Rowan again. He returned a second time as the audience chanted for the New Day, Daniel just dropped his mic and left for the last time.
Samoa Joe came out next and asked for a title match against Kofi when Elias and then Randy Orton came out. All three of them wanted to face Kofi but Elias decided they should team up and face the New Day for tonight. The New Day accepted the challenge but then Orton backed out of it. Kofi mocked Orton for refusing the match saying that 'the Viper had gone limp' and Randy returned to accept the challenge. The match was right up next.
