Sami Zayn found Adam Pearce on SmackDown and demanded that he be given the Money in the Bank contract right away. Pearce said that he had to qualify like everyone else and win the ladder match. Sami was furious, even before Pearce decided to make it a Last Man Standing match next week on SmackDown between him and KO.
Sonya Deville was out next and announced the first Women's Money in the Bank ladder match entrant from the Blue Brand, Carmella. Liv Morgan came out and mocked Carmella before attacking her. Sonya broke it up and told Liv to earn a spot in the match by beating Carmella.
